Windham Fabrics is delighted and honored to participate in the 100 blocks tour once again.  Only 58 designers sign-up to partake in the event and this is the second time one of our designers received a block placement! The featured block was made by Tavy Umhey from several of our Windham reproduction collections.

  1. Your block and quilt are beautiful, love the fabrics 🙂 And congrats on being selected, what a honor!
Please enter me into this wonderful magazine giveaway.

  2. Wow! I love your Heroes Welcome quilt. I enjoy reproduction fabrics, so it was nice to see your block using those.

  3. I’ll definitely have to make this block (and quilt) to remember wonderful times visiting Mt Vernon and Monticello! Thank you for my memories!

  4. Tavy has created such a pretty block with your lovely fabrics! I can hardly wait to get my copy of the magazine to start making a quilt from the pattern!!! Thanks for the chance to win!

  5. Wow! I love Windham fabrics and Tavy’s block looks awesome in Windham fabric. The block alone looks great but the finished quilt has that “antique” look that I love. (Reproductions re my fave. Can ya tell? LOL)

  6. I love this quilt block! And the whole quilt is wonderful too. I plan to do some exploring on Tavy’s website to see what other wonderful things she’s designed.

  7. What a great block – I’d love to give this a twist and use contemporary fabric with colours that POP! Thanks for the chance!

  8. Tavy’s block and quilt are really honoring to those who have given so much … it made me smile to see how she named her block Mt Vernon … I was blessed to be able to go there this year and see the historic value of that place and what it means to our country.
And on this day, the 235th birthday of the Marine Corps, it is very fitting for her quilt to be “A Heroes Welcome” … very honoring… and QUITE beautiful !

  9. I love your block and would love to win a copy of the book. I also enjoyed looking at your pictures of Quilt Market. I was there at the show a couple years ago and hope to go again some time.
