going to introduce them to you and give you a glimpse of the fabulous fabric we
have in store for you this season.
CARRIE & MORGAN
Carrie & Morgan began
freelancing together in 2005, formed an official partnership in 2007 and
launched Ampersand in its present form in 2009. Ampersand Design is now a

Rothman is an illustrator and pattern designer and we are thrilled to have her
as a new addition to the Windham Fabric team.
Type, her new collection contains a soothing color combination and a
cool retro vibe. The collection is
filled with patterns of vintage typewriters, tossed paper clips, typewriter
keys and notepads. Her collection will
be in stores November 2012.
Melissa Ybara of Iza Pearl Design
Melissa Ybarra is the creative force behind Iza
Pearl Design. She spends her days awash in the fresh, fanciful colors and
creations of her studio. This is her second collaboration with Windham
Fabrics. Her first collection, Cabana Blooms is in stores now. Melissa is excited to share her new collection, Hello Gorgeous
which debuts in stores February 2013.
With Melissa creative flair, Hello Gorgeous has the perfect mix of playfulness,
color and design that I know you are all going to love
Brian is very excited about the launch
of his Haberdasher collection for Windham Fabric. You'll see that it
incorporates his love of classic design, antiques and sewing memorabilia, as
well as his love of vintage buttons, in his signature sepia palette. Haberdasher is in stores January 2013.
Lavin is a textile designer in New York City. She has a long history of design
with Windham Fabrics. Her love for patterns and fabric started at a young
age. Rosemarie is very excited about her
two new collections Retro Rider and Day for Night which both hits stores
a mother of two grown sons Rosemarie always found it hard to find fabrics and
products that would work for a boy’s room.
Other than sports themed and licensed character art she has found that
the selection has always been very limited.
Retro Rider is biker inspired collection that she hopes will appeal to
boys, teens and men.
Rosemarie’s other collection Day for Night is a black and white color story with
a twist. She has done many black and white groups for us before but this time
she wanted to shake it up a bit. The patterns have more of a modern feel than
her previous groups and the addition of fresh green color into the mix gives it
a more contemporary look.
Mary has been sewing her whole life and without a
doubt knows her fabric. She loves fabric
and has over 100,000 different pieces of antique fabric. Some of the most spectacular Windham Fabrics collections
have her stamp on them. Her new collection Rebecca is a beautiful floral group
that is based on fabrics from England that were made in the mid 1800’s. Rebecca hits stores this January 2013.
a love for quilting and a talented eye for reproduction fabric, Julie
Hendricksen has successfully designed many collections for Windham Fabrics. Her
knowledge and passion for antique quilts and textiles make her a much sought
after lecturer on turn of the century era quilts. Her newest fabric line,
History Repeated, was inspired by the style of two delightful quilts, one
broken dishes and the other a basket quilt. Julie’s uncanny ability to create a
luscious palate of complementary colors truly shines in this collection.
History Repeated will be in stores March 2013.
