Make your Holiday Gilded Modern by Ampersand Design Studio and 3M Command Brand

Hello Fabric Lovers!

Windham Fabrics Designers, Ampersand Design Studio has partnered up with 3M Command Brand to show you how to create a “Gilded Modern” holiday decor. Their collection “Bold and Gold” fits the bill and is displayed prominently in this feature.

Christmas decor doesn’t always have to be in the traditional red and green. Ampersand Design Studio shows you how the fresh color combination of white and black, along with metallic gold is able to create a sophisticated and modern look.

Let’s take a peek at what they’ve come up with and hopefully this festive decor will inspire you for your Holiday 2015 display!

We wanted it to feel tailored and polished, but not too serious, and definitely not cold. To add some texture, we incorporated (faux) fur stockings, a cozy black and white throw, and two pillows covered with our fabric from our Bold and Gold collection by Windham Fabrics.

Love how everything compliments each other!

To give it our own playful touch, we created a gallery of painted Holiday artwork, which we placed in simple frames to hang alongside a huge DIY himmelli wreath (painted gold, of course).

Be sure to visit the 3M Command Brand website for more holiday tips from Ampersand Design Studio! Don’t forget to pick up their collection Bold and Gold at your Local Quilt Shop!
